The Bay Shore Youth Lacrosse Spring Boys' program is for boys aged Kindergarten to 6th grade.
The spring season typically begins in mid March of every year and ends in late May with the exception of the K-1 program.
Kindergarten & First Grade Boys (new players and returning players): We provide a clinic that will introduce the boys to the game and prepare them to play competitively. For 2023, the clinic will run on designated Fridays and Saturdays in April and May.
The clinic will be run by the Bay Shore High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Program and will feature many fun drills and activities that will get your child interested in the game and give him the opportunity to work with the Varsity athletes.
First Grade Boys: For our returning first graders and for first graders considered "game ready," we participate in modified competitive league play against local town teams through the Nassau/Suffolk PAL Lacrosse League. The season is a shorter six game season that starts mid-April. Games are held on Sundays on the turf at Bay Shore High School. The K1 clinic serves as one weekly practice and First Grade coaches may opt to hold one additional weekday practice at one of the Bay Shore Elementary schools.
Second through Sixth Grade Boys: We participate in competitive league play against other local town teams through the Nassau/Suffolk PAL Lacrosse League. The season is composed of eight games that begins in late March. Games are held on Sundays on the turf at Bay Shore High School, and practices are held at one of the Bay Shore Elementary schools during the week.
Practice schedules will be communicated by the coaches at the start of the season.
